I am a full-time library associate in a public library system with a passion for teen services and teen literature. I finished my degree in May 2010 and am now the proud owner of an MLIS with a specialty in youth services.  One day I aspire to be a teen librarian but the job market is not agreeing with me at the moment.  I love reading but don’t have enough time to read EVERYTHING on my list and somehow the teen books are the ones that seem to somehow always make their way to my nightstand.  Some of my favorite teen authors are Francesca Lia Block, Laurie Halse Anderson, Caroline B. Cooney, J.K. Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, L.M. Montgomery, Maggie Stiefvater and Stephen Chbosky.  I love “The Perks of Being a Wallflower” and “Speak” and anything that has to do with Anne of Green Gables or Winnie the Pooh.  This blog is for my young adult class I was taking during the Summer 2009 and will include spoilers of my reviewed titles so be warned!
